Raymond Pelly, father of Cathy, is the founder and longest serving Trustee of the Cathy Pelly Memorial Trust. Originally from England, Raymond has lived in New Zealand for over thirty years. An Anglican Priest, he was Warden of St.John’s College, Meadowbank, Auckland, from 1977 - 1984. He is now Priest Associate at Wellington’s Cathedral of St.Paul. He is married, and his youngest son, Tom, attends Scots College.

Michael Handley - Trustee

Michael Handley Born in 1936 in Lincolnshire and lived since 1954 in Norfolk, England. Father on the railways. 2 years in the Royal Air Force, five years at College, then ordained in the Church of England in 1962. One wife, three children, rising five grandchildren. Retired and now living by the seaside.
Other interests: climbing hills, painting pictures, and the local scene.

 

Barbara Craig - Trustee

Barbara Craig - Trustee

Barbara Craig is an educational researcher at Victoria University of Wellington with an interest in children’s and young people’s uses of digital technologies at school and in the home. She is a long - serving member of the 2020 Communications Trust and involved in initiatives like Computers - in - Homes that help all young people and families in underserved communities to benefit from the internet and digital media. She has two children, the youngest still at college.

Grants are given in a quinquennial cycle (every five years). Applications for the Cathy Pelly Memorial Trust will be open again in 2013.
